Academic funding for reserach project on the protection of consumers on online auction sites

Dr Christine Riefa, Lecturer at Brunel University has been awarded funding for her project on "the protection of consumers on online auction sites". The project will investigate the laws applicable and potential necessary reforms in the field not only in the UK, but also in Europe and further afield. This international survey will start with visits to Belgium, France, Canada and the USA. Dr Riefa is in the process of applying for further funding to expand the research to South America, Asia, Australia and New Zealand.
